For Current Players, Parents & Guardians

Pre-Registration for Returning Players

  • Returning Knobby’s Kids participants get first chance to join again before the season starts.
  • If your email has changed, send a message with subject NEW EMAIL to play@knobbyskids.ca.

Current Season Schedule

  • Once registered, you’ll receive the full schedule of dates, times, and special events by email.

  • For same-day updates and cancellations, follow us on Facebook.

Skate Times

  • Designated skate times are provided at Equipment Hand-Out.
  • Skaters may only skate during their assigned hour; coaches may adjust times based on skill level.
  • Goalies may qualify for an additional hour to ensure proper coverage.

Saturday Morning – Arrive Prepared

  • Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
  • We recommend kids arrive wearing most equipment; add helmets and skates after check-in at the registration desk.
  • Locker rooms will be busy—plan accordingly.

Hockey Equipment

  • All registered kids must wear full hockey equipment, including a neck guard, to be on the ice.
  • Parents/guardians supply mouth guards, protective cups, and hockey tape used during the season.
  • Helmets must display the Knobby’s Kids Hockey time-colour personalized name sticker to enter the ice surface.

Weekly Sign-In

  • Participants and a parent/guardian must sign in at the registration booth each Saturday—no exceptions.
  • Only registered individuals may access the ice or bench area.

Supervision

  • A parent or guardian must be in attendance at the rink at all times.
  • Unsigned or unsupervised children will be removed from the program.

Equipment Return

  • All loaned equipment must be returned on the last skate of the season.
  • Lost items may be claimed at the rink’s lost-and-found or the Knobby’s Kids booth.
  • Unreturned equipment cannot be replaced.

Photos

  • We take weekly and event photos for our social media. We do not post names.
  • Please notify us if you prefer your child not be photographed.
